My friend`s boyfriend plays for a covers band London. He has been into music for a very long time and just loves playing guitar. He has always entertained hopes of being famous and has written his own songs for many years. However, we all know the vagaries of the music business and we have seen bands who seem to have little or no talent making the big time and becoming stars whereas people like my friend`s boyfriend who have masses of talent get overlooked time and time again. It seems to me that it is mostly a matter of luck whether you will ever make it to the dizzy heights of super stardom and unfortunately this has not happened for my friend`s boyfriend as yet. Meanwhile he plays in his covers band London and does some very interesting gigs. He plays at weddings and birthdays and so on but also, sometimes, he just plays in pubs and clubs for the fun of it. The advantage to playing in a covers band London is that the audience know the music you are playing and are therefore much more likely to join in and get involved. Indeed, his gigs are always thoroughly enjoyable affairs with the crowd dancing away all night.

Function band London

It was my husband`s fortieth birthday recently and I wanted to surprise him with a party. I had booked a venue and a function band London but the whole thing was top secret so I had to be really careful not to let anything slip. The function band London had come highly recommended to me as had the venue and I was confident the evening would go well. I had invited all of our close friends and family and they were as excited about the surprise as I was. The reason I had booked a function band London rather than a disco was that there were going to be all ages of people there including my husband`s grandma. I really thought that a disco would not be appropriate as a lot of older people really cannot stand the noise. Somehow a band seems to bring people together better. Anyway, the fateful evening arrived. I had said to my husband that I was taking him out for a meal and that we needed to pop in at a friend`s party along the way. As we made our way into the function room the look on his face was a sight to behold. He was absolutely delighted to see all his friends and family and we had the night of a lifetime.

jazz band London

Recently it was my friend`s birthday and she decided to do something different to celebrate this year rather than the ubiquitous drinks and restaurant that most people seem to do every year. She had heard about this jazz band London that played in a local club and had heard really good things about it. She asked around all her friends to see if they would be interested in seeing a jazz band London and we all were happy to give it a go. When we arrived at the club where the jazz band London was playing I was really surprised as it was really quite swanky. There were intimate little tables and really delicious food and wine being served all night. It was as far away from the archetypal smoky jazz club as you could get. Nevertheless, the surroundings were really nice and we settled down to watch the band. However, we did not know anything about jazz etiquette and did not realise that it was frowned upon to chat whilst the band were playing. We got told off twice by the management and the band and I think my friend may go back to her usual birthday celebrations next year.
